This cupboard design has been inspired by an early nineteenth century Shaker hanging cupboard. The original cupboards were designed to hang off wall mounted peg rails which typically ran the entire length of walls in communal rooms within Shaker homes.  Small enough to be placed almost anywhere and large enough to be substantially useful, this cupboard as been handmade to intentionally have the feel, overall aesthetic and subtly aged patina of an original American piece. Each cupboard is unique in appearance. It features an internal shelf which divides the cupboard in two.
 
The modest proportions of this cupboard mean that it can be mounted just about anywhere without it dominating a wall space. It is fixed by a steel mounting plate which is easily accessed making installation straight forward, it can be mounted on all wall types, customers need to source fixings suitable for their walls.
 
They are fabricated from solid Pine, see dimensions below.
